Coastal Garage Floors is a local, owner-operated team led by Ryan. We coat residential and commercial garage and concrete floors across Volusia, Flagler, and Central Florida, and we treat every job like it's at our own house. You'll work directly with the people doing the work, from your first call to the final coat.
Our proven process for perfect floors
We take pride in a detailed, step-by-step process that gets your floor done right. It starts with diamond grinding: we use a vac-assisted diamond grinder to profile the surface and create the right texture for the coating to bond to. That method gives us the best results with minimal dust, because the grinder's vacuum keeps the air clean and safe. Whether you have a new floor or one that needs some repairs, we prep the surface for long-lasting results.
Floor repair and preparation
Every floor, even new concrete, needs some form of repair before coating. We use a fast-setting concrete patch to fix cracks, holes, and any imperfections that could affect how the floor performs. If your floor has expansion joints or relief cuts, we offer several fill options so the surface comes out seamless. For a truly smooth look, most clients choose a hard fill that keeps the surface consistent and unbroken by visible joints.
Color and texture
After the repairs, we start the coating process. We apply a polyaspartic base coat and broadcast flakes over the surface to create the color and texture you picked. Our full broadcast flake system covers 95% to 98% of the surface with a beautiful blend of color. The flakes hide imperfections in the concrete and leave an attractive, durable finish. Once the base coat cures, we come back to scrape the edges and apply a final top coat for maximum protection and shine.
Quick curing for fast use
Once the polyaspartic clear coat goes down, the floor is ready for light use within 24 hours. After 48 hours, your garage floor is fully ready for vehicle traffic. Most projects wrap up in about 2 days, so you can enjoy your newly transformed floor in no time. Our polyaspartic coating is low-odor, quick-curing, and built to stand up to years of wear while keeping its finish.
Warranty information
The products we apply carry one of the strongest warranties you'll find. We install premium polyaspartic and epoxy systems, matched to your space and built for fast return to service, excellent UV, abrasion, and chemical resistance, long-term durability, easy maintenance, and shine. Our residential floors are warranted against normal wear and tear for a lifetime, for as long as you own and live in the home (certain limitations apply). Commercial and industrial floors are not covered by warranty.
